Sweat and Detox

Opening up your skin as a detox organ is extremely important. In fact, the skin is the largest detoxification organ of the entire body.
Toxins and waste are eliminated by the skin via sweat. Research has shown that sweating is a safe and effective way to eliminate arsenic, cadmium, lead and mercury.
These studies determined dermal excretion through sweating could match or surpass urinary excretion.
Through the exercise section in this book, we will be sweating a lot!
But before then we need to open up the pores and get the skin working. To do this I recommend baths with Himalayan salt.
How Do I Cleanse Through The Skin?
Prepare a hot bath where the temperature makes you sweat without being straining on the body.
Grab a glass of cold water and place it beside your tub to keep yourself hydrated.
Then add in 1lb/0.5kg of Himalayan rock salt. When it is dissolved, relax for 30 mins.
This will get your pores unblocked and activated.
At the same time it will mineralise your system. In a process known as dermal absorption, the skin soaks up minerals from the water – sometimes even better than if we consumed the same minerals!
Himalayan salt contains numerous minerals that are important for our health – including calcium, copper, iodine, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, selenium, sodium and zinc.
Himalayan salt will also pull out toxins through your skin. Not to mention making you feel completely relaxed.
